crunchy toast

so much for resuming a regular schedule of posting :P but i should have known better. 90% of the time im just too lazy. well, school's started. its school. not too bad, since im only taking 13 hrs. ceramics is a lot of fun, i love patrick, we drink lots of tea. im making teapots!! i will post a picture of one next time, but its really exciting :D they are way smaller than the ones he makes of course >_< using almost twice the clay he did i can my pot to about the same size as his, and i swear im getting it as thin as i can, half the time the very end is me trying to keep the damn pot from collapsing. what a pain. but fun too. ceramics is good for developing my patience :P it drives me crazy waiting for the finished product. i also made a teabowl with a built in strainer for loose leaf tea, im excited to see if it works or not :D also excited that we are going to exchange teabowls today, because i dont really like many of mine and i really want some of patricks and matts are pretty cool too. he has this one thats like alligator skin on the inside that i love.

photography is decent, im excited because i got to buy new stuff for my camera, and i stressed out a lot less once i decided to pretty much ignore the assignment and just take pictures, then try to fit it in later :P

need to go shopping, im running out of food again :P

so lately ive been getting the weirdest urges to like... grow up and stuff. im thinking about getting furniture for next semester, but im also planning on what i can keep for an appt when i graduate. i even started looking around at appt prices in austin. even weirder, last night i started seriously considering getting my own phone and starting to pay my bill now! thats money id be spending now, but somehow its exciting? haha, its silly. i guess im just getting to that point...

do de doo, i am at grandma's now w/ the family and aunt bernice. it is lazy nice, just reading and on the computer and playing cards and eating :D good way to start wrapping up the break. not exactly looking forwards to going back to school, but i think that i will have a good semester since im only going to have 4 classes. murr. had a good christmas and good new year, got some nice presents. dont really feel much like typing right now, im more in a nap mood. :P more graffiti though
