crunchy toast

tried to go swimming at the river last night, but it was dark and shallow, so that didnt work. but i did slice open my heel... im wondering if its infected. :/ we will see, im sure ill be able to tell by tomorrow. anywho, for now im just not walking on it. heh. first casualty of college! so since that sucked we ended up swimming in a fountain on campus. im joining the SU fountain swim team. it will be much fun. though i really do need a towel. its cold when you get out. my foot hurts. but only when i walk on it. i need a scooter. i HAVE a scooter!! eeee i think im gonna use it.

anywho, we got our fishy! :) im happy. it is reddd, and its not eating. im hoping this is a temporary situation. i would be disappointed if petsmart was selling anorexic fish. names so far: taco (i like), dog, kitty, fishy. i think there was one other, but i dont remember. and if i dont remember it not worth remembering.

arrrr i went to a garage sale at this church and got a working razor scooter thingy for $2!! hehe, i took it away from a little mexican kid. ... he wasnt gonna buy it... pinkie swear. i think im gonna use it around campus alot, cuz its easier than a bike, i can just take it inside instead of having to lock it up. and i will be the most cool hip girl at school. :D

i cant decide how much im gonna like this all yet.. i mean, today i had two classes, one at 11 and one at 1, 50 min each, and im done for the day. but other days i gots lotsa stuff. but at least mondays and fridays i can sleep in and do stuff in the afternoon. i think i want snackies. i didnt eat much for lunch. some juice maybe. and doritos!! i am such a whore for cooler ranch. that and icees. god i love icees. anywho... im gonna go read halo.

went to my first frat party last night. :P it was interesting. all that really happened was drunken upperclassman coming over and giving me and eva lectures about being in college. it was funny, we got four all together, 2 from the same guy, im pretty sure cuz he was too drunk to remember he had already talked to us. anyways, it was fun.

tonight i want to go swimming in the fountain

so everything has been going peachy, mostly. in my first year seminar (fys), our music their music, we watched high fidelity on our second day, which was much fun. :) cept i was on the floor and i have the hardest time getting comfortable. i tried lying on my back, but i had no pillow and had to try to prop up my head wiht my arm, the floor was too hard to lie on my side, so i sat up, but then my arms got tired. so i moved around alot. i wish i had some pillows. anywho, the reading s for the class are starting to pile up, >_< and i have to keep a 'journal' which is a bit of a pain. but at least the prof is cool.

saw four brothers yesterday, sneaked into gateway again. it was really good! it made me very sad though. but lotsa cool action scenes, including a car chase in a snow storm!! complete with skidding, spinning, and rolling cars!! woot. my dad said he and his buddies used to go out into big parking lots when it snowed and spin their cars around. it sounds fun. too bad texas doesnt have snow!!! least not in the cool parts of texas.

i slept in my contacts last night, they are kinda ictchy now. its annoying, no matter how many times i stick my finger in my eye it doesnt feel better. :( i saw a commercial for contacts that you could keep in for up to 30 days! isnt that crazy? afshan needs to get those cuz he never takes out his damn contacts.

murr. our room really really needs posters or something on the wall. im considering tacking up my sarong, just to give some color to the place. we got a nice big red rug, which makes the floor pretty at least.

im movvved in!! its crazy... cuz it still doesnt feel like im in college. it feels like im at a really nice summer camp or something. i like my room, pleanty of room, and ive finally got my computer and printer and shit all set up, now that i have a working charger and internet connection (thank you god). my roommates really nice, she smokes, but everyone and their mom does, and shes nice about it, so i dont mind. :) its funnn... but then again, classes havent started yet. so we will see.

food is awesome, but im gonna get fat if im not carefull.

whoo, three posts in one day, i dont think ive ever done that much... :P when we were tubing we stopped at a rope swing and a bunch of people (michelle, jordann, minda, that gang) showed up, which was cool. i didnt expect to see them there, thought i knew they were supposed to be there sometime. we went out to eat and i figured out if you stab a lemon peel with your straw taht it makes a loverly projectile. :D my first shot got minda in the forehead (to my suprise). i guess it was a good thing that we were out on the deck...

i really want to go look at the baby squirrels, but i dont think i should. i really hope their mom gets em. eh, my head hurts, so im gonna go to bed

whoo for wireless.. and a pool. :D talk about a nice rv park. anywho, youd never guess what happened! i was standing behind the pop-up, and i heard this sound like a branch falling on the ground, and this little clump of leaves had fallen out of a tree, and this squirrel ran away from it. then i heard this chirping, and i was like, oh my god a bird nest fell down.. so i ran over and it was a freaking squirrel nest! there was one little one that had fallen out, they were about 3" and chirping just like baby birds. they were so small and fuzzy and their eyes werent even open. i turned the nest thing over and a couple more fell out, so i put them all back in, there was one in the nest still. four little babies! they were adorable. :) so we stuck the nest under a bush and are hoping the parents will move em somewhere. it was an interesting experience.

goin camping! ...not that i really want to. >_< id rather be home for my last few days. but maybe i can up my tan. :D heheh skin cancer. yum. anywho, we should get some kayaks, which are awesome. so its all good anyways. need to clean up my room, pack, and finish my assigned reading. heh...

oh MAN system of a down ROCKED MY FUCKING SOCKS. hahaha, it was awwwwesome. we only got a little lost on our way to houston, so that was good, got there on time, we had seats but we moved more to the front and ended up with a really good view. mars volta opened, they were really really good, i was really glad i got to a chance to see them, they did alot of improv and they had a sax and a maraca guy, it was so cool. hehe :D oh man it was good. SOAD, we screamed alot. we sang along, we rocked out. it kicked ass. they played most of mezmarize and alot of toxicity, only a few songs off the other albums, but they played sugar, which made me scream and jump alot even though it was the last song and i was damn tired because i LOVE that song i think its my fav off the old albums WHOOO it was fun. i was soaked in sweat which was nasty. but worth it. it was icky humid, so when we were waiting between acts it sucked. siigh. id like to do that again. .. soon. hehe

best part: when they played sugar, cuz i expected them to play most of mesmerize, so that wasnt a big deal, even though i adore that cd, and i reallllly wanted them to play sugar. plus its always cool when they play the one you want very last

worst part: no encore. what kinda crap is that? :(

goddddd my head hurts. >_< im allergic to dust. ethan and i have started switching our rooms, and ive been sorting through all sorts of crap and i havent stopped sneezing and blowing my nose since 11 this morning. gahhh

this is more work than i thought it would be... weve been doing it all morning/afternoon and ive thrown away alot of crap, but nothing is actually moved yet. siigh. i wish i could just make it happen. ... without doing it. yeah.

yeah, so housesitting was fun. there was this little black dog that i forgot its name so afshan named it doodle. its funny looking. got up on the bed and slept with me last night, which i guess was okay, but i think it gave me bad dreams. hmm. im hungry. what i would love right now is a quesadilla, but a really good one. like with yummy cheese and prolly meat. like steak meat. mmm. that would be AWESOME.

goddd its getting late... its already the eight, on the 13th (this freaking Saturday!!!!) i get to go see soad, then on the 20th, which is in like two freaking weeks i move. gaah its nutty. absolutely bonkers. siigh.

uggg fucking cramps... why does god hate us so? makes me not want to eat anything.

god im hating this job... i dont feel like calling people or even showing up. i got back on good terms with my manager by lying to him >_< but i dont want to keep this up. i think i just might call it quits soon. i mean, i do have alot of stuff to do, so maybe at the end of this week, ill just turn in my stuff, or something like that. ill ask him about college, maybe once i get settled in ill get my stuff back, and do some. bleh. i really wish i had just gotten a regular job. then id actually do it. and id actually make some money. i cant deal with a self motivated thing yet.

ive figured out how to make millions... i need to design a pad thats comfy. i havent worn a single one that doesnt feel icky. no matter what they say. if i could make an actually comfortable one, i could get rich. i know it. crampycrampycrampy
